Cherokee Nation Assurance is providing scientific and research support services to the U.S. Army in an effort to protect warfighters and the public from infectious diseases and other biological agents. CNA, a subsidiary of Cherokee Nation Businesses, has partnered with the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases and is executing research at one of the military’s leading laboratories.

The U.S. Department of Defense’s Defense Health Agency invited Cherokee Nation Assurance’s Seth Wanger to serve as a guest speaker in honor of National Native American Heritage Month. Wanger, a Cherokee Nation citizen, serves as a program manager supporting CNA’s contract with the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases.

Cherokee Nation Assurance is supporting a massive research and development contract with the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) to protect our warfighters and the homeland from biological threats. CNA is one of seven companies competing for task orders with potential revenue of $250 million.
